Travel from the capital city of Wellington to the largest city in New Zealand, Auckland. Get in touch with the team at Thrifty Tours to plan your next NZ adventure.
Although many people think Auckland is the capital largely due to its size, it is actually Wellington in the lower North Island that houses the government buildings. Built around a harbour this city has a mountainous backdrop and doesn't cater quite so well to sprawling urban life like Auckland.
